Two nights ago I ran the automatic update and got hit with the 10.4.11 Update. The install seemed to have installed fine, all my programs worked (well those that I actually use).
Now this morning I decide to recompile some stuff the have been updated. (PHP, etc), so I proceed to stop apache. Boom, nothing happens and I get “Sorry” as the reply. I try it again, no dice. So I proceed to verify and repair the permissions o the disk, only some iTunes errors as usual (no surprise there). I try to stop apache again, nothing, wft.
I then check the system logs. Jah, the user is not found on the system, authentication failure, WHAT.
To the apple discussion forums. No surprise other folks are experiencing problems, but mine seems made small compared to some of theirs.
APPLE, get your fucking act together. Mr. Softies machine is still running fine, no problems for the last year.

Well, we have finally come to a decision about the next ride. It seems it might be the A4 (B7). We will try to get the paper work moving along some time next week.
Here is to hoping we don’t change our minds between now and then.

Well, we have two potential candidates for the next ride, Subaru Legacy (2005 Design) or the Audi A4 (B7). Both are old designs and/or chassis, but we need to look at the pros and cons of between each of them.
If you guyas have a preferrence, let me know in the comments, might make the decision a bit easier.
Speed vs Slight Luxary (I mean slight). The BMW 3 Series would have them both, but a bit out of the price range at the moment.

The weekend moved along mad slow, and with no ride; or even worse, no friends (got to find some); we can’t go anywhere. I was thinking about the movies, but that requires cheese and a sure ride home.
Will stay at home for another weekend, and think about some code.
