Here on the island of Trinidad they are about to celebrate Carnival, a yearly festival of folks jumping about in almost no clothes. This weekend, I shall be an onlooker
. [More Trinidad Info]. For those of you stuck in the NY with the cold,
, better luck next time.
Anyways, I think I could find a camera to get some pics onto the site, one way or another. [It might be another, but lets not jump ahead of ourselves
.
I hope you all are having a good weekend also, see you at the next post.

Folks, I got called out to work this saturday, and did it put a limp in the weekend. I don’t think I completed anything I had set out to do when i got up from the bed Saturday morning. Working this weekend did bring some issues to light, 1. My DSL bites ass, I couldn’t do anything remotely even after I killed the connections of any computer but mine to the internet. 2. There is traffice regardless of the time or day. 3. I hate driving on weekends.
My baby did his job to get me from south to north in a reasonable time, I will have to fix that to cut that time down a bit, and the only thing i heard from the inside was my keys and Linkin’ Park
.
I hope next weekend is much better. I could only hope

Well, I carried the ride for the Programming of the Comfort Control Unit. To the surprise of the one [me]; well not really; they could not do it to manufacturer default settings. But what was a surprise is that they charged me for it, they must be out of their fucking mind. If you can’t do what is required, you can’t charge me; listening folks.
So, now I have to make some expensive calls to the manufacturer and VW New York to get the problem resolved within the next month.
If anyone out there knows how to fix the problem, do send me an email.

I saw a nice clip about this TV Series on the web and decided to take a look at it. It’s about; from the first episode I saw; a Guy who was waiting outside the movie theater for a girl who never showed, as he was about to toss the tickets a strange girl tells him not too; in a voice from a character from a movie it would seem. He then gives her the ticket and they watch the movie together. Later that night the girls’ house burns down and she is invited to stay at his house. She is an aspiring actress and he works for a food company i think. The show looks good form the first episode, but you know what could happen; It could get mad long like Naruto or Inuyasha
.
Well i’m looking forward to the next release of the show I can find on the Interweb;
I have always wanted to write that; Till next time.

We had a ride yesterday at Chaguaramas, yes I can ride a bike, Michelle, Mishael, Nicholas and myself. Some folks bailed on us for one reason or another, in any case, they were not there.
First up, since I didn’t have a bike, I had to rent one at the bike shop, 25$/hr, after making my selection [I went through two bikes, they had issues], we took to the trail. A short trip down the road, and one of the party is already gasping for air; hmmm didn’t they do this at least once before
. This continued until it was time to return, so we let the tired person take the straight road whilst we took to the bushes. After the ordeal, my butt was aching; I do remember buying a seat the same day I bought my bike, I wonder why. I all it was a good ride, and looking forward to it next week.
I did however expect to get the coconut water after the trip, but everyone had stuff to complete, so we split for the highway and made our way home to prepare for the rest of the day. [Me all i did was make a trip to the airport to wish Kadhine-san well on her trip to Romania, I hope to see some posts from here on the club blog.
Have a sweet trip Kadhine, I would visit you soon

I missed a few posts this week, but the main one would be another chip on my windscreen. Boy I swear the car has some jinx on it. I just change that screen at a cost of 4,400$ hard earned TT currency. I have this strange feeling that the car wants to be sold.
Other car matters. I heard some strange sound yesterday morning while the air conditioning was turned on; the only problem is that I could not duplicate the expperience a few minutes later. Something else to take care of next week at the service center.
I have finally finished “Tom Clancy – The Cardinal of the Kremlin”, an excellent fictional story. This one took me the longest because the car was down [Audio Books are sweet, especially when you got bumper to bumper traffic, 2.5hrs to get from home to the office] for repairs, next time i’ll just read the book.
Folks, I gone with that one, hope to see you all online,
, keep smiling.

TGIF. I have been awaiting the start of another weekend, mostly because I don’t plan to do the usual [sit at home bored].
The weekend will have bike riding down some hill with the co-workers, I hope someone tries to break their ass
. The car should have a good cleaning, and get all the tyres re-aligned; most important. The rest of the weekend should come to me between now and monday
.
If you got some suggestions, send me a PM, i may even read email this weekend

This weekend was a bust. The only thing I got done was the purchase of a clothes hamper and a waste paper basket. I did get to watch all of “Scryed”. Astrange little show, I won’t get into it too much. Some event caused a bunch of folks to get strange powers at birth, and the government decides to controll them. And soon enough someone get wise and all hell breaks loose. I suggest you give it a view/read depending on your preference.
Well, I do hope I can get more done this weekend.
