Department ID

Folks, there seem to be a bunch of ppl within the organization out to give me some grays. [I'm not having any!].

I went to the mobile division to acquire a headset and car charger for a nokia mobile unit, only to be told our department id is non-existent. Now, the id was good last wk. So i jumped on the cell, calling the finance dept, to be told everything is ok. [I was wondering, how could everything be ok, and here i am in front the rep, who says the department can't be found on the system.]

Now, the rep was not all that kool either, she almost bite my head off when i told her to try the alternate [global] department id. jah, i wonder where they find her. neways, she tried it, and low and behold it ain’t found. yuh talk about pressa.

Now, this is taking valuable time away from the other work i could have been doing, when such a trivial transaction should have taken no more than 15mins.

Well, next day for that.

Treasure Queen

Folks,

I went to a party last night [oops that waz Saturday Night] on the Treasure Queen with my good friend Stacey. I had a blast, but of course, since I had not stayed up that late before [meaning in a long, long, long time] I was mad tired around 02:00.

The boat left Pier 2 [yes thats right] @ 23:30 Trini Time [ahhh dats 00:30 for those of you who did not know].

Right now, I am thinking, where was my camera, all this good fun, and not one record of it except the chit [ahhh boat money] i did not spend. I’ll find a scanner and place it in the gallery.

No Access

Bouy, pressa at work this morning. I show up for scheduled software upgrade and BLAMM, no access to the server room. The guys responsible for pressing the button at the door, no where to be found. What am i to do?

Well, I make some calls (wasted my money there), and about an hour later I can see the servers.

I was just wondering, if i’m to go through this every time i have to do a software upgrade that requires physical access to the console.

Batman Bagins

Wow, the movie was one of the best, if not the best batman movie i have ever seen.

the story line, character development, special effects were all top, from my point of view – you may have a different view :p.

Folks, go see the movie.
